We are excited about your desire to contribute to Real Dads Read. There are a couple of ways you can donate books or dollars. Our program launch will take place in February 2017 in Atlanta, GA at 25 barbershops.  In each barbershop we anticipate placing small literacy centers that include a book shelf (to include books), small table and two chairs.

Because our project target will be in several primarily low-income communities in metro Atlanta with a population of primarily African American and Latino children, we are seeking the donations of "culturally" relevant books for elementary and middle school grades K-8. (we will except all books) However, one of the ways that you encourage children to become interested and read books is by exposing them to characters, living environments and cultural similarities that match their everyday experiences.
